Our first time in the ballroom of this dazzling 5 star hotel working with the band HotRox again.

Sewa and Dean’s guests danced until 1am while we did our best to keep the volume in the right place for sleeping guests above which included The Red Hot Chilli Peppers! We played one of their songs but they didn’t come down to join us unfortunately.

What the DJ saw

A warm July evening under canvas on a family farm with a perfect view of Salisbury Cathedral.

Bonnie and Daniel had 400 guests so we used a full 2kw of sound reinforcement and mix of powerful Par Can lighting and kinetics to get these lovely effects on the canopy.

Having fun?

We danced until very nearly 2am. Fortunately, the nearest neighbours were some miles away. A rewarding evening for James and I – we got lots of complements and requests for cards.

Orchardleigh House April 2011

Our first time here. A lovely old country house with remarkably relaxed owners and staff who permit ‘dancing till dawn’.. so we almost did.

The house is set in a generous estate so there no are neighbours to worry about. Richard wrote to us after his honeymoon to say ‘Thank you again for making our day that extra bit special. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ you had the dance floor going all night and played great songs to get everyone in the mood. We will definitely be recommending you to all of our friends.’

Dancing was in a dedicated room which appeared to be the library! A small but particularly appreciative crowd kept us going on a wonderful balmy evening for April.

Wick Farm – April 2011

Wick farm (near Bath) is a new barn conversion completed this season for weddings to a very high standard. Lucy and Chris began planning their big night with us more than a year ago. Lucy chose a live band on the floor and we were high up on a mezzanine floor giving us the great view of the crowd having fun below.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for providing the music at our wedding – we couldn’t have chosen a better selection of music ourselves…you really did play a bit of everything with some real surprises in there too! Absolutely fantastic!!! I’m so glad that we chose you to be our DJ, it was clear that you had put a lot of time and effort into the selection of tracks that you played and the contrast between the reception drinks and wedding breakfast music and then the evening ‘disco’ music was spot on.

Baby Mirror ball provided sound and lighting for 'Creak' from London

We love a theme and there’s so much great sixties much to choose from. For this charity fundraiser we worked with a live band. Baby Mirror Ball provided PA and lighting for the event. We lit the band with DMX controlled high powered PAR 64 Lanterns with kinetic and LED lighting the dance floor. It’s looked and sounded great.

Phil & Tammi’s Wedding – Abbey House Gardens September 2010

Our first time at Abbey House Gardens owned and run by Ian and Barbara Pollard the ‘naked gardeners’. The 16th century house was bought by the Pollards in 1994 who quickly set about creating the most enchanting gardens we’ve seen. It’s difficult to imagine how they have created such an exciting and detailed landscape in such a short time.

The evening’s entertainment was in a newly restored glass roofed barn attached to the main house. Giant Koi Carp swim in the pond just outside.
